Heritage of Craft
Since 1985, Vander Avort has devoted itself to creating treasures destined to endure. Our family atelier has always believed that heirlooms carry more than their weight in gold — they embody memories, emotions, and the stories of those who wear them.

Born from an unwavering desire to cultivate extraordinary pieces, Vander Avort unites the best of both worlds: the mastery of internationally renowned artisans with the intimate virtuosity of local craft. Rooted in our community, and giving back to it, we create with respect for tradition and with an eye on eternity.

Meet the Founders

As childhood friends and second-generation entrepreneurs, Maxime Vander Avort and Mathieu Van Eycken shared a fascination for timepieces. In 2019, they embarked on a journey to create a watch they themselves would wear, and one that honoured their heritage. They chose the ancient name Lovon, a nod to their hometown of Leuven, Belgium.
What emerged was a creation designed not to follow trends, but transcend them: a watch built to stand the test of time.
